A tightly cropped eye looks out from the chest, its grainy monochrome treatment giving the image the feel of an old film still. Sweeping script crosses the lower part of the picture without obscuring its stare. Small white stars scatter across the raglan sleeves, shifting the focus outward from the central portrait. Against the black body, the two prints meet in a graphic, slightly cinematic contrast.
